She was born in Leningrad on May 30, 1965. In 1974, she began to study fine arts at the children's art school under the guidance of Sergei Daniel.
In 1985, she entered the Leningrad Higher School of Art and Industry named after V. I. Mukhina (now the St. Petersburg State Academy of Art and Industry named after A. L. Stieglitz).
She studied painting in the workshops of Alexander Zaitsev and Stanislav Mosevich. Since 1989, Zemlyanaya has participated in all exhibitions of the Parallel group.
Since 2014, she has been the organizer and curator of several art projects, exhibitions and festivals. In 2018, she was awarded the "Master's Hat" at the International Art Festival "Master Class" for continuing the development of the traditions of "St. Petersburg Structuralism". Member of the Association "Free Culture" since 1991. Member of the International Federation of Artists IFA since 2015.
Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 2017.
From 1992 to 2023, 18 solo exhibitions took place (8 of them were museum exhibitions).
