Andrey Novikov was born in 1985 in Stavropol. He received his education first at the Pyatigorsk Art College, and then at the North Caucasus Federal University. Since 2008 – Master of Fine Arts. Member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia since 2008.

Novikov's portfolio includes many grants, awards and titles of the winner of exhibitions.

So, in 2011, Andrey Novikov received a diploma from the Russian Academy of Arts "For his contribution to Russian culture." In 2016, he received a grant from the Governor of the Stavropol Territory for achievements in the field of art and culture. In 2019, he received the gold medal of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia for his contribution to Russian culture.

Also in 2019, Andrey Novikov became a finalist of the "PortraitNow2019" competition, which was held in Denmark.

Currently, the artist's works are in private collections in Russia, Israel, Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Montenegro, Denmark, Germany, USA, Greece, Kazakhstan. And also in the permanent exhibition of the Erarta Museum of Modern Art (St. Petersburg).
